Breaking chains doesn’t just happen. What’s bound on earth is bound in heaven. Mathew 18:18. The battle is fought & won in spirit before we ever see freedom truly manifest. In a room filled with worship last night I saw our savior, the one who stoops, the most humble above all. Unlocking chains. Watching as he knelt down at our feet, turning the key of bondage that we’ve been shackled too & setting the captives free.
And all we have to do is praise him. Acknowledge his power. His strength. His sovereignty.
He promises to set our feet in spacious places. Psalm 31:8. How can we run free while bound to false idols? Fix your gaze upon the one who holds the key. Align each thought towards the truth. And run freely, not looking back. Step into the water and watch him split the sea.
John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
