We always have a choice. Our approach emphasizes our heart.
When I chose to follow Jesus, it meant I had to leave behind my plans and pursue his purpose for my life.
Often times we talk about our waiting season. For me it’s waiting to meet my partner, my husband. The one God has set aside just for me,
now I believe that, so I am willing to wait, to seek the Father’s heart rather
than force his hand.
Sometimes I think we confuse waiting with wading, forcefully trudging our way into the destiny that we have set before us. Is it a good path?
Probably, but it may not be the highest road. Therefore leading you back into the wilderness. I don’t know about you, but I’ve found myself in that round about many times.
Daily I have to examine my heart, my thoughts, my actions and realign
them to my Father’s purpose. To Jesus. And when I feel like I am falling off track or wanting to run the other direction I remember that he has never failed me. That His no’s are sometimes the greatest yes he’s given me.
So continue to wait. To diligently seek him. And when you feel like making something work, remember He is the maker, and you are the creation.
Yet Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we all are the work of your hands. Isaiah 64:8
