There are hills and valleys all around us. Figuratively the valleys are the low points of life when things just don’t seem to be going right. Of course we ask why? Why me? Why this pain, this pressure? But I believe in order to experience all that the mountain top has to offer we must climb. Press into the pressure. Stretch our strength.
Without valleys, we lack perspective of what a mountain even is.
As I was looking at the rolling hills in the valley of where I grew up I realized its not about getting to the end without challenge, its about embracing where you are at. Your climb up the mountain will build you, shape you, and prepare you for the victory that is your mountain top. Don’t be discouraged when you embark off your mountain top into another valley. Know that each valley is serving a greater purpose, to prepare you for something much bigger than you can even imagine.
A perfect plan to perfect your story.
James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
