Mirrors are interesting. Before they existed how would one see themselves? A puddle on the ground, the back of a polished utensil? Or was the internal reflection all that they had? Isn’t that the one that really matters anyway?
Physical health is important, sure. But who you are on the inside is what holds the most weight, without an internal reflection all we are is some skin & bones with a name tag. What makes you different from me is not just the color of your skin or how tall you are. It’s so much more than that.
As I grow to know my creator, I’ve become more interested in reflecting who Jesus was rather than who Isabella thinks she is. My daily prayer has become Lord who am I in you? Show me, teach me, & refine me to be more like you.
Our creator longs to develop us.. the question is will we let him?
