This last year I have spent an absurd amount of time alone & I have learned a thing or two about solitude. When all I had were my thoughts to sit with there were a lot of conclusions I had to come too. I have learned to love my me time, but it wasn’t always that way. I used to dread having an empty day. In those small, seemingly insignificant moments of discomfort I became comfortable with myself.
This world will swallow you whole if you don’t know who you are, & in order to find that out you’ve got to spend time with yourself. Don’t be afraid to look in the mirror & discover those layers, they’re beautiful. The more you embrace them the brighter you shine. Show up as you. The world doesn’t need another one of them we need another one of you.
